Share it, post it, vote — that's a ticket

  • A ticket is one drawing of yours shared from the Studio plus a post on X from your linked account that links the drawing's page (gobblers.xyz/d/…).
  • Up to 3 tickets per X account. One ticket per drawing, and a post counts once.
  • A ticket enters the draw after 10 counted votes per ticket, cast after the contest opened. Quick clicks don't count.
  • A drawing has to be a drawing: entries with too little in them are turned away.
  • One win per X account. Prizes are paid in USDC to the wallet linked to the account.
  • The organizer may remove entries that break the rules — before or after the draw. After a removal the draw is run again with the same seed and the same list.
  • You need both a wallet and an X account linked to enter.
How the draw works

Random, public, checkable

  • The winners are picked at random — by a public formula that anyone can re-run and check.
  • When entries close, the ticket list is frozen: its checksum and the number of a future Ethereum block are published right here — before that block exists.
  • The randomness is the hash of that block, once it is mined. Nobody, including us, can choose or predict it.
  • Every ticket in the draw has an equal chance. One X account can win once.
  • After the draw, the block, its hash and the winners are published on this page.

Technical details (for verifiers)
  1. Commit (after the deadline): the list is every ticket of the contest by position (1..N in entry order) and is frozen. List checksum = keccak256 of the text "position:ticketId\n" for every row, by position. Seed block = the latest mainnet block at commit time + an offset (announced as the block number). Both are published before the block is mined.
  2. Seed = the hash of that block.
  3. For i = 0, 1, 2, … take r = keccak256(seed ‖ uint256(i)); the ticket at index r mod (tickets left) is drawn and taken out of the list.
  4. A drawn ticket wins if it is in the draw (ACTIVE at commit, drawing still shared) and its X account has not won yet; otherwise it just drops out — until 5 winners or no tickets are left.
  5. A removal after the draw only marks that ticket as not in the draw; the same seed walks the same list again.
Verify · tickets
